BEIJING: Chinese Premier Li Qiang met with Thailand’s King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua on Friday, highlighting the close bond between the two nations.
Premier Li described China and Thailand as “like family” and reaffirmed commitment to strengthening high-level exchanges, mutual support, and cooperation for the benefit of both peoples. He emphasized expanding trade, investment, and collaboration in emerging sectors such as green economy, artificial intelligence, and aerospace.
Cultural and tourism exchanges were also highlighted as key areas to strengthen people-to-people ties.
King Vajiralongkorn praised the long-standing friendship, noting that bilateral cooperation has produced significant results and holds promising prospects for the future.
