Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Receives Telephone Call from U.S. Secretary of State

Islamabad :Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, received a telephone call this evening from the U.S. Secretary of State, Marco Rubio.

Both leaders expressed satisfaction at the positive trajectory of Pakistan–U.S. relations and discussed recent regional as well as international developments.

The Deputy Prime Minister and the U.S. Secretary of State reaffirmed their mutual commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations across multifaceted areas of cooperation, including political, economic, trade, investment, and people-to-people linkages.

The two sides agreed to maintain close engagement to advance shared objectives of regional peace, stability, and prosperity.
