Beijing :Premier Li Qiang met with a visiting US congressional delegation led by @RepAdamSmith.

Premier Li said that,both China and the US are major countries with important influence in the world. Maintaining stable, sound, and sustainable relations between China and the US serves the common interests of both countries as well as the expectations of the international community.

Since the beginning of this year, the two heads of state have held several phone conversations and agreed on enhancing dialogue and cooperation between the two countries, providing strategic guidance for developing bilateral ties at the next stage he said.

Chinese Premier said China is willing to work with the US on the basis of mutual respect, peaceful coexistence, and win-win cooperation. It is hoped that the US will work with China in the same direction to steer bilateral ties forward along the right track, to the benefit of both countries and the world.
