Pakistan and Jordan Sign Agreements to Boost Education, Culture, and Media Cooperation

Islamabad: Pakistan and Jordan have signed four agreements and memoranda of understanding (MoUs) to strengthen cooperation in education, culture, and media. The signing ceremony took place on Saturday in the presence of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and King Abdullah II of Jordan, along with senior officials from both countries.

Key agreements included:

A cultural cooperation MoU between Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar and Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi.

Media cooperation agreements between Pakistan Television Corporation, Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation, and Jordan Radio and Television, signed by Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar and Ayman Safadi.

Establishment of Urdu and Pakistan Studies chairs at the University of Jordan, formalized between Federal Minister for Climate Change Musadik Malik and Ayman Safadi.
