Pakistan Dispatches 200 Tons of Humanitarian Aid to Sri Lanka

Islamabad: Pakistan has dispatched 200 tons of humanitarian assistance to Sri Lanka via sea cargo to support relief and rehabilitation efforts in areas affected by the recent devastating Cyclone Ditwah.

A special send-off ceremony was held in Islamabad, attended by Minister of State for Finance Bilal Azhar Kayani and Sri Lankan High Commissioner to Pakistan Admiral (R) Ravindra C. Wijegunaratne. Senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and NDMA were also present.

According to the spokesperson, Pakistan has expressed complete solidarity with Sri Lanka in this difficult time and reaffirmed its commitment to extend all possible support in the ongoing relief and recovery efforts.
