Islamabad: president Asif Ali Zardari has conveyed heartfelt felicitations to Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and the brotherly people of Kuwait on the occasion of Kuwait’s National Day and the vibrant Hala February festivities.
In a message addressed to the Kuwaiti leadership, the President extended warm greetings and praised the spirit of resilience, unity, and steady progress demonstrated by the Kuwaiti nation under the wise leadership of His Highness.
Highlighting the deep-rooted and historic relations between Pakistan and Kuwait, President Zardari noted that the bilateral partnership is built on mutual trust, shared values, and a common commitment to regional peace and prosperity.
He emphasized that cooperation between the two countries continues to expand across key sectors, including trade, investment, information technology, defence collaboration, and people-to-people exchanges.
The President described the Pakistani community in Kuwait as a vital bridge between the two nations, acknowledging its valuable contribution to Kuwait’s development and its role in further strengthening bilateral ties.
Reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to deepening cooperation, President Zardari expressed confidence that as Kuwait advances on its path of progress and prosperity, both countries will further enhance their partnership for the mutual benefit of their peoples.
He also conveyed his best wishes for the good health of His Highness, continued prosperity for the Kuwaiti people, and the enduring strength of the fraternal relations between Pakistan and Kuwait.
