Afterwards, he also participated in a high-level meeting on terrorism, during which the Corps Commander Peshawar gave a detailed briefing on the security situation in the area.
In his statement at the meeting, the Prime Minister said,the strong response to terrorism will continue, and no ambiguity in this regard will be tolerated.
He said the masterminds and facilitators of terrorism in Pakistan are based in Afghanistan, and they are being backed by India,Afghanistan has been clearly told to choose between foreigners and Pakistan.
Afghan nationals are involved in terrorist incidents; they cross over from Afghanistan to carry out terrorism in Pakistan. The early repatriation of Afghans illegally residing in Pakistan is of utmost importance he said
Prime minister said the Pakistani nation completely rejects politics and misleading narratives on the issue of terrorism,whoever talks about facilitating or rationalizing the terrorist proxies of foreigners and India is their tool, and he will be answered in the language he deserves.
Prime minister said the people of Pakistan, especially the proud people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, are united like a fortified wall with the State and the Armed Forces of Pakistan against these Indian proxies,to give an even more effective response to terrorism, whatever administrative and legal measures are required will be taken immediately.
