Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif concluded one-day visit to Qatar

Doha: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has concluded his one-day visit to Qatar and departed for Pakistan.

During his stay in Doha, the Prime Minister met with the Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. In the meeting, the Prime Minister expressed solidarity with the Amir and the people of Qatar in the wake of the unjustified Israeli aggression and blatant attacks in violation of international law on Doha.

The Prime Minister highlighted the longstanding, historic, and brotherly relations between Qatar and Pakistan, founded on shared religion and values. He reaffirmed that Pakistan has always stood by Qatar in difficult times and will continue to do so.

The discussions also covered Israel’s unjustified attacks and continued aggression against various countries in the region, as well as consultations on efforts to establish peace in the region.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Minister for Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi were also present in the meeting.
