Egyptian Foreign Minister calls Ishaq Dar, congratulates on defense agreement between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
Islamabad:Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar received a telephone call from Egyptian Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Abdelatty, who warmly congratulated Pakistan and Saudi Arabia on signing their landmark Strategic Mutual Defense Agreement.
According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, Dr. Abdelatty described the agreement as a major milestone in strengthening the partnership, trust, and cooperation between the two brotherly countries. He noted that the accord would contribute to promoting peace and stability in the region while advancing shared goals.
During the conversation, the two foreign ministers also exchanged views on regional and international developments. They underscored the importance of peace, stability, and economic growth, reaffirming their commitment to enhance multilateral cooperation. Both leaders expressed eagerness for in-depth consultations at the upcoming 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly next week.
