Peshawar: Muhammad Sohail Afridi was formally sworn in as the 30th Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during an impressive ceremony at the Governor House in Peshawar.
Governor Faisal Karim Kundi administered the oath to the newly elected Chief Minister in compliance with court directives.
The ceremony was attended by a large number of political leaders, including members of PTI’s central and provincial leadership, lawmakers, senior officials, and notable social figures. The hall resounded with applause as Afridi took the oath.
It is worth mentioning that Sohail Afridi was elected Chief Minister by a majority vote in the provincial assembly after the opposition members staged a walkout.
