Islamabad: Jordan’s King Abdullah II ibn Al-Hussein is set to arrive in Pakistan today for a two-day official visit.
The visit comes at the invitation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and underscores the historic and brotherly ties between Pakistan and Jordan.
This high-level engagement is expected to further strengthen the strategic trajectory of bilateral relations and expand cooperation across political, economic, and cultural domains.
During his stay, King Abdullah II will hold important meetings with the President and the Prime Minister. According to the official statement, both sides will review all aspects of bilateral relations. A special ceremony will also be held at Aiwan-e-Sadr where the Jordanian King will be conferred Pakistan’s highest civil award.
