Beijing: US President Donald Trump has arrived in Beijing on an official visit to China, where he received a warm welcome.
At the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, President Trump is on an important three-day visit to China, which is being viewed as a significant development in relations between the two countries.
According to media reports, the two leaders are expected to hold detailed discussions on bilateral relations, trade cooperation, the global economy, regional developments, and other matters of mutual interest during the visit. It is anticipated that issues related to tariffs, technology, investment, climate change, and global security will also come under discussion.
This marks the first visit by any US president to China in nearly nine years, while it is President Donald Trump’s second visit to China since November 2017.
Political analysts believe the visit is being seen as an effort to ease tensions and open a new chapter in relations between Washington and Beijing.
During his stay, President Trump will participate in high-level meetings with the Chinese leadership and attend various official events. Both countries have expressed hope for positive outcomes from the visit.
