Beijing: The 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) held its fourth plenary session in Beijing from Monday to Thursday, focusing on the nation’s strategic roadmap for future economic and social development.
According to an official communiqué issued on Thursday, the session deliberated and adopted the “Recommendations of the CPC Central Committee for Formulating the 15th Five-Year Plan for Economic and Social Development.”
The meeting was presided over by the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, while Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, delivered key addresses and provided explanatory remarks on the draft recommendations.
Participants also reviewed and discussed a report presented by Xi on the work of the Political Bureau, highlighting progress made in governance, policy implementation, and future strategic priorities.
The communiqué stated that the adopted recommendations will serve as a guiding framework for advancing China’s modernization, innovation, and high-quality growth under the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026–2030).
