Riyadh: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif departed from Riyadh for London after completing his visit to Saudi Arabia.
Deputy Governor of Riyadh, Prince Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman bin Abdulaziz, saw off the Prime Minister at the airport.
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif undertook the official visit to Saudi Arabia at the invitation of His Royal Highness Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
At the invitation of the Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif paid an official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on September 17. At Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister warmly welcomed the Prime Minister of Pakistan. The two leaders held a formal session of talks in the presence of delegations from Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
In Riyadh, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia signed a Strategic Mutual Defense Agreement to enhance defense cooperation and strengthen joint defense and protection against any aggression. Any aggression against one of the two countries will be considered aggression against both.
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman signed the Strategic Mutual Defense Agreement.
The agreement, which reflects the shared commitment of both countries to enhance their own security and to pursue peace and security in the region and the world, aims to strengthen defense cooperation between the two nations and reinforce joint defense and protection against any aggression.
