Prime Minister’s Telephone Call with Amir of Qatar: Strong Condemnation of Israeli Attack in Doha, Expression of Sympathy and Solidarity with the People of Qatar
Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif telephoned the Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and strongly condemned the illegal and brutal Israeli bombardment in Doha, expressing deep sympathy and solidarity with the Amir, the royal family, and the people of Qatar.
The Prime Minister denounced the Israeli bombing in Doha which resulted in the tragic loss of precious lives and damage to civilian property.
He termed Israel’s attack a heinous act, reflecting the mindset of its leadership that is willing to go to any extent to achieve its nefarious objectives. He further said that the Israeli aggression was a blatant violation of Qatar’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, describing it as a highly dangerous provocation that could gravely endanger regional peace and stability.
The Prime Minister assured the Amir of Qatar that Pakistan stands firmly with Qatar against Israeli aggression and stressed the need for unity within the Muslim Ummah at this critical juncture.
Thanking the Prime Minister for his telephone call and sincere expression of solidarity in this difficult time, the Amir of Qatar said he was deeply touched by the Prime Minister’s sentiments, which reflect the deep fraternal ties between Pakistan and Qatar.
Both leaders agreed to remain in close contact in the interest of regional peace and security.
