Islamabad :Pakistan strongly condemns the interception of the Global Sumud Flotilla by Israel. The flotilla was a vital humanitarian mission, symbolizing international solidarity and moral commitment towards the oppressed people of Palestine. Israel’s actions constitute a grave violation of international law and established humanitarian principles.
On 16 September 2025, Pakistan, along with 15 other countries, had already issued a joint statement highlighting concerns for the security and safe passage of the flotilla.
The Government of Pakistan places the highest priority on the safety and well-being of its citizens aboard the flotilla. While Pakistan does not recognize Israel, we are actively engaging with our international partners in the region to secure the immediate release and safe return of Pakistani nationals.
Pakistan continues to remain in close coordination with allied nations to ensure the protection of its citizens and reaffirms its unwavering commitment to their swift and secure repatriation.
