PM Shehbaz Sharif to Visit Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Türkiye from today

Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif will undertake official visits to the Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Türkiye from  today April 15 to 18, 2026, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The visits to Saudi Arabia and Qatar will take place in a bilateral context, where the Prime Minister is scheduled to hold high-level meetings with the leadership of both countries.

Discussions will focus on strengthening ongoing bilateral cooperation, enhancing economic ties, and exchanging views on regional peace, security, and stability.

During his visit to Türkiye, the Prime Minister will participate in the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, where he will attend the Leaders’ Panel alongside other global leaders.

He is expected to present Pakistan’s perspective on key regional and global issues, highlighting the country’s role in promoting peace and constructive engagement.

On the sidelines of the forum, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and other prominent world leaders to further strengthen diplomatic ties and explore avenues of cooperation.

Pakistan’s participation in the forum underscores its continued commitment to proactive diplomacy, multilateral cooperation, and meaningful engagement with the international community on issues of global importance.

The Prime Minister will be accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Syed Tariq Fatemi, along with other senior officials.
