Iran FM Abbas Araghchi Returns to Islamabad After Oman Visit

Islamabad: Iran’s Foreign Minister  Seyed Abbas Araghchi has arrived in Islamabad once again after completing his visit to Oman.

According to sources, Abbas Araghchi reached Islamabad from Muscat, while members of the Iranian delegation accompanying him have also arrived in Pakistan.

Some members of the delegation had earlier returned to Tehran for consultations and have now rejoined the foreign minister in Islamabad.

Reports suggest that diplomatic efforts between Iran and the United States have intensified regarding possible progress.

Sources indicate that if Araghchi, after consultations with mediators, reaches a workable agreement, a meeting between Iranian and American delegations could take place in the coming days.

During his stay in Muscat, the capital of Oman, the Iranian foreign minister met with Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said.

The meeting included detailed discussions on the overall regional situation, bilateral relations, and efforts to ease ongoing tensions.

During the meeting, the Sultan of Oman emphasized the importance of dialogue and diplomacy for regional stability, stressing the need to minimize the impact of crises on the people and to pursue a sustainable political solution.
