Shehbaz Sharif expresses concern over White House shooting, extends good wishes to President Trump
Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has expressed deep sorrow and concern over the shooting incident at the White House and conveyed his good wishes for President Donald Trump.
In a message posted on X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday, the Prime Minister said he was deeply shocked by the unfortunate shooting incident that occurred during the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner in Washington, D.C.
He expressed relief that President Trump, the First Lady, and other participants remained safe during the incident.
The Prime Minister also prayed for President Trump’s safety and extended his best wishes.
According to reports, a shooting incident took place during the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner last night. However, President Trump and all attendees remained unharmed, while a suspect was arrested.
