President Xi Jinping to Meet U.S. President Donald Trump in Busan tomorrow

Washington : As agreed between China and the United States, President Xi Jinping will meet with U.S. President Donald Trump in Busan, the Republic of Korea, on October 30 (local time) to exchange views on bilateral relations and issues of mutual interest.

The upcoming meeting between the two leaders marks another significant step in maintaining high-level dialogue between the world’s two largest economies. It comes at a time when both nations are seeking to stabilize relations, enhance communication, and expand cooperation in key global areas.

Observers say the discussions are likely to focus on a wide range of issues including trade and investment, regional security, climate action, and people-to-people exchanges. Both sides have emphasized the importance of managing differences responsibly and advancing cooperation where interests align.

The Busan meeting will be the first in-person engagement between President Xi and President Trump since the two leaders resumed contact earlier this year. It is also expected to set the tone for future China-U.S. engagement in the Asia-Pacific region.

Beijing remains committed to building a relationship with Washington based on mutual respect, peaceful coexistence, and win-win cooperation.

The meeting is scheduled to take place on the sidelines of the upcoming regional engagements in Busan, drawing international attention to its potential impact on both bilateral and global diplomacy.
