Pakistan, China reaffirm strong strategic partnership amid regional developments

Islamabad: Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, Jiang Zaidong, called on Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar on Tuesday, where both sides discussed the evolving regional situation and matters of mutual interest.


During the meeting, Ambassador Zaidong appreciated Pakistan’s ongoing diplomatic efforts to promote dialogue, particularly its role in facilitating engagement between the United States and Iran for lasting peace and stability in the region and beyond.

He reiterated China’s full support for Pakistan’s constructive role in regional diplomacy.


Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar reaffirmed the enduring Pakistan–China All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership, highlighting the depth and resilience of bilateral relations.

He emphasized the importance of continued high-level exchanges and close coordination between the two countries.

Both sides expressed satisfaction over the strength of Pakistan-China ties and agreed to further enhance cooperation across various sectors to promote regional peace, stability, and economic development.
