A Beautiful Blend of Pak-China Friendship, Literature, and Cultural Harmony

Islamabad: A vibrant cultural mushaira (poetic symposium) held at the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China became a beautiful manifestation of Pak-China friendship, mutual respect, and cultural ties. The event was jointly organized by the China Media Group and the Pak-China Cultural and Economic Progress Welfare Organization. It was attended by poets, writers, students, government officials, and members of the Chinese community from both countries.

The mushaira was part of the Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations, which is regarded as one of the most prominent traditional festivals of Chinese culture celebrated worldwide. He further stated that during President Asif Ali Zardari’s recent visit, both sides agreed to promote spiritual and aesthetic harmony between Islamic and Chinese civilizations, giving new dimensions to their cultural relations.

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on China Affairs, Zafaruddin Mahmood, in an interview with CGTN Urdu, highlighted the richness of Chinese civilization, traditions, and intellectual heritage. He said that China’s social and literary systems are models of tolerance, harmony, and progress for the world.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, guests observed that cultural programs like this not only open new chapters in Pakistan-China friendship but also play an important role in spreading the message of intercultural harmony, literature, and peace.

The mushaira marked a new milestone in Pak-China relations through the power of culture, art, and literature.
