Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on Monday held a meeting with Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Jiang Zaidong, during which both sides discussed key regional developments following the recent Islamabad talks.

During the meeting, Ishaq Dar reiterated Pakistan’s firm commitment to promoting dialogue and diplomacy as the preferred path to resolving regional tensions.
He emphasized Islamabad’s continued role in facilitating constructive engagement among key global stakeholders.
Ambassador Jiang Zaidong appreciated Pakistan’s efforts in hosting and facilitating direct talks between the United States and Iran, describing them as an important step toward reducing tensions and fostering stability in the region.
Both sides also reaffirmed the enduring strength of the Pakistan–China All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership, underscoring their shared commitment to further deepening bilateral cooperation across multiple sectors.
The meeting reflects ongoing close coordination between Islamabad and Beijing on regional peace, stability, and diplomatic initiatives.
